I was very excited to have actually scrapped at the retreat....it's not usual for me to scrap much at crops and stuff, I don't know....I think I get stage fright! Or maybe I'm just too busy chattering and sticky-beaking at everyone else's work....
Anyhow, here's what I created....
This first page was my "live" page kit swap - previously we had posted our chosen photos up on the forum and our swap-mate put together a kit of goodies for our layout. Kim chose the most perfect papers and embies for me, and this is what I did with them....
I pulled out a fail-safe Pip Prosser Takeaway for this colourful double....
Eastern inspired colours and bling for Mia's Bollywood pics....
....played with Heather's Cuttlebug to make my title....
My project I taught for the PJ Party Layout Class....
While I was off retreating, the rest of the world carried on, including new challenges at Design Dollies.
I created this (one I prepared earlier!) for the Purple Black & White colour challenge.
I really don't "do" purple - so it most definitely WAS a challenge!
Lastly, check out the current DD Sketch Challenge.....
.....has to be one of my faves I reckon....
Thanks for stopping by!

These are all super!! Looks like you had an amazing time at your retreat :) And I must say that the Echo Park papers are just perfect for you :)
ReplyDeletePen, I don't 'do' purple either, but I LOVE your Goth Girl LO! That little bat is the cutest!
ReplyDeleteThe picnic LO is really nice too, makes you think of summer and long lazy days!
Looking forward to the RES class!
