October Class In A Box

The new Class-in-a-Box is now ready.

This month it's all about making your own cute embellishments - a fun, cost-saving technique to learn. A pattern-sheet is included for you to trace, so no hand drawing is required (unless of course you want to...!)

The kit includes everything you need to recreate my layout, except chipboard lettering.

11, 12 & 14

Almost halfway through OCTOBERFEST!!! Here's my progres:

Number 10 - I'm waiting on some papers to arrive that I ordered especially for it.

Number 13 - uses a 12 x 8 photo and I'm still figuring out how to get one printed that size!

Number 15 - I planned on doing today, but with my own scrap class to prepare for tonight, I got a bit waylaid!

So here are the ones I did manage to get done in the last 5 days.....

I'm actually enjoying the 8.5 x 11 size (something I've never tackled previously - cos I didn't want to go buying new albums...). It's so easy to fill the space, and a normal 6 x 4 photo appears much bigger, if you know what I mean! So all the class layouts this size will be about my middle daughter Bethany and her first year of school - what better excuse to purchase a new album?!

The First Five

Here's what I've been up to this week.... Trying to keep up with Octoberfest - a month long online class by Jen Hall. Yeah, I know, it's the 9th and I've only done 5 pages.......but with a house full of visitors for the last week and a busy long weekend at the Gum Flat 125th Birthday celebrations I haven't exactly had all the time in the world! But - it's been FABULOUS! Jen's classes are so easy to follow, and to adapt to your own style and the stash you have on hand. I'm loving all the new inspiration. Here's my layouts, in day order....

Oh, and "I Am So Proud of You" is a scraplift of a page with the same title by the fabulous Jen Hall.

September's Class

With "So You Think You Can Dance" on the big screen, plenty of lollies on hand and heaps of laughter, the girls once again came up with some simply stunning layouts this month!

2 Cute 4 Words!

Too cute....that's our Parker! Our little nephew is now almost 2 - why does time have to go so fast?

The layout was done for the new Challenge Blog "Puzzle Sketches" - a brilliant original idea designed to stretch our creativity. Rather than being given a sketch, you get a set of puzzle pieces, or shapes, that you can put together anyway you like to create your own layout design.

It's so much fun!
